Behind Butterflystack

Why I started Butterflystack

The tools have become more connected. Businesses still need help putting them to work.

I started building automated customer acquisition systems back in 2012.

Back then, creating a complete system meant bringing together a collection of disconnected tools. You needed one for your website, another for marketing funnels, another for your CRM, and others for email newsletters, automated email sequences, pipeline management, and workflows.

Then came tracking and reporting, appointment bookings, live and automated webinars, and capturing leads from advertising platforms such as Google and Facebook.

Businesses had to connect all these pieces to create one working customer acquisition system. Every connection needed to be configured, tested, and maintained. When information failed to move between tools, opportunities could slip through the gaps.

Since then, I have built more than 2,000 automations for businesses across different parts of the world. As an automation consultant and a SMEDAN-certified Business Development Service Professional, I have watched the technology evolve—and seen how much businesses can achieve when their systems work together.

Today, platforms such as GoHighLevel bring many of those capabilities into one interconnected ecosystem. Processes that once required a large stack of separate applications can now work together around the same customer information.

That is a significant step forward.

But connected software does not automatically create a working business system.

Someone still needs to understand how the business operates, design the customer journey, configure the platform, organise the data, build the workflows, and prepare the team to use them.

That is where many businesses get stuck.

The subscriptions are active. The features are impressive. The team has attended demonstrations and watched training videos. Yet enquiries still go unanswered, follow-ups depend on someone remembering, and managers keep chasing updates.

The investment has been made. The implementation has not happened.

Sometimes the owner is too occupied with running the business to lead the setup. Sometimes the team starts enthusiastically but gets stuck. In medium-sized and larger establishments, years of legacy systems, departmental silos, and manual processes make the transition more complicated.

Moving to another platform often leaves the same work unfinished.

That is the problem I started Butterflystack to solve.

Butterflystack brings together business software, implementation expertise, automation consulting, and team training to help organisations turn their investment in technology into everyday operational capability.

Built on GoHighLevel, our platform provides a connected foundation for managing customer relationships, capturing enquiries, coordinating follow-up, booking appointments, and deploying automation and AI. Our work is to help businesses put those capabilities to use around clearly defined goals.

We begin with how the business operates: where customers experience delays, where employees repeat avoidable tasks, where information gets lost, and where growth is placing pressure on existing processes.

From there, we help establish the foundations, scope the systems, implement the workflows, and prepare the team to use them confidently. Through consulting, done-for-you builds, corporate workshops, and Automation School, we support both the technology and the people responsible for making it work.

For a growing business, that may mean creating a dependable customer acquisition and follow-up system. For a medium-sized or large establishment, it may mean replacing fragmented processes with connected workflows, clearer accountability, and better visibility across teams.

The outcome we care about is what improves for the business and its customers.

Faster responses. More consistent follow-up. Smoother onboarding. Reliable handovers. Teams that can serve more people while maintaining a high standard of service.

My belief in systems runs deep. When I look at creation—from the solar system to the human body—I see dependable processes sustaining complex systems. That principle shapes my approach to business: lasting growth requires systems that people can rely on.

My vision for Butterflystack is to help ambitious African businesses build that foundation—businesses prepared to invest in better operations, equip their teams, and use technology deliberately to improve and scale.

We exist to close the implementation gap, so businesses can put their technology to work and their customers can experience the difference.
